They are easy to handle when planting, as they are 3 to 5 times lighter than metal, and simplify storage. They have a long service life, and the absence of corrosion makes them reusable. They are suitable for most types of soil and all types of plant protection, and different diameters and lengths are available to suit different needs. They are less expensive than wood and steel (depending on steel prices). They are made from fibreglass, polyester resin and UV protection.
